Charging Basics

How do I charge my Taiga?

Level 1 (110/120V AC): Your Taiga comes with a Level 1 charging cable that can plug into a standard 120v wall outlet. For most casual riders, this will be an adequate charging solution at home and can charge your Taiga from 0-100% in approximately 14 hours.

Level 2 (208/240V AC): For faster charging, you can install Level 2 charging at home, as well as on other public charging networks. With this solution, you can charge your Taiga from 0-100% in approximately 3.5 hours.

Level 3 (208-900V DC): For the fastest charging, you can find Level 3 charging stations available on public charging networks This solution is ideal for quick top ups – you can charge your battery from 0-80% in approximately 30 minutes.

Home Charging

Do I need to install charging at home?

No, you can plug your included level 1 charging cable into a standard 120v outlet. We recommend installing a Level 2 charging solution to experiences a faster charge rate.

Note: Some regions may require a dedicated circuit for EV charging, so make sure to verify the electrical code requirements in your area.

Public Charging

Can I charge at any public charging station?

Taiga vehicles can charge at any public J1772 or CCS1 Combo charging station, but not Tesla charging stations because they use a proprietary plug style.
